Kate is a wife, mother of 2, passionate digital creator, podcaster and advocate for human trafficking, using her platform to educate and amplify preventative information to bring more awareness to Human Trafficking. Her purpose is to educate and share preventative education to bring more awareness to human trafficking, online exploitation, and protecting our children online. Her Podcast “Amplify” has a goal to Amplify survivors’ voices, amplify organizations, advocates and allies.

Kate started IG 3 years ago to amplify voices of survivors and their message as there was no platform to advocate for the victims/survivors.
Human trafficking is a billion dollar business and it is not easy to fight it! Funding is crucial when it comes to helping organizations working with vulnerable communities, and our most recent pandemic showed how fast it can have a detrimental effect when it is suddenly cut off.
Things are getting worse…calls for assistance from non-governmental organizations have increased dramatically.
How children are being shown explicit material. Children are so much more susceptible to being exploited online than 2 years ago. Technology is so accessible – schools require kids being online for resources and interacting for example.
Predators are online but so are peers trading sexual exploitation materials online. 8 year olds are watching porn, creating it and sharing online! SHOCKING
There is so much effort on blaming big tech companies but instead we need to look at where children learn about online safety and lead by example. Parents are constantly on the phone and children want to mirror their parents.
Learn how to speak to your children about online safety and grooming, or wanting to have a phone. Don’t be afraid to talk to your children!
How apps like TikTok/Snapchat begin grooming our children.
