Taco Salad

What you need:

  • Salad

    • 1 pound of ground beef

    • 1 head of iceberg lettuce

    • 1/4 cup water

    • 2 green onion

    • 1 clove of garlic minced

    • 2 tablespoons of taco

    • seasoning (recipe in

    • Basics)

    • 1 tomato, diced

    • 2 avocado

    • 1/3 cup salsa

    • 1/3 cup almond yogurt

    • (optional)

    • 10 black olives (optional)

    Taco Seasoning

    • 1/4 cup crushed red pepper

    • . cup chilli powder

    • 2 tbsp garlic powder

    • 2 tbsp onion powder

    • 2 tbsp cumin

    • 2 tbsp smoked paprika

    • 2 tbsp oregano

    • 2 tsp cayenne pepper

 
 

Taco salad with a spin, yum and simple!

Method:

  1. Cook beef in a frying pan. Once brown, drain grease.

  2. Then add 1/4 cup of water and 2 tablespoon of taco seasoning.

  3. Add minced garlic. Then set aside.

  4. Wash lettuce and tomato.

  5. Cut lettuce, dice the tomatoes and chop the onions.

  6. Add in to salad bowl.

  7. Cut the avocado into slices and add to bowl.

  8. Add ground beef, salsa, and optional ingredients as desired.
