Erin thank you so much for being on ‘the balanced girl’. So excited about so many thing you shared and really just looking at why am I eating; when am I eating, my relationship, just taking inventory of how am I sleeping, how am I moving each day with work outs or walking; what am I putting in my mouth, am I watching too much TV. There are so many things to do as you check with myself. There is so much anxiety with what you eat/ effort, in the past what am I wearing, what fits me, this led me to my fitness journey
Women from an early age – just eat less, are convinced the answer is outside i.e. go shopping, yet we don’t look inside, the solution is not in the fridge
I ask myself - Why do I eat when I am in a hurry – why do I eat things that make me sick in my stomach? Why do you diet?
Mental health with food – large connection – many studies, processed foods are strongly linked to depression
Take away extreme foods like sugar, wheat, gluten, lactose – many people have intolerance to it
I feel better when I eat a certain way and I get enough sleep; I promise you the answer is not in the kitchen
What are we eating/ what are we drinking? Awareness of mental health is important too

Always know what you are eating next day/where are you going? If you are home that is easier; when we eat right we eat protein/healthy fat/glycosidic carb and fibre; for fruit I advocate for berries, early in the day; 2/3 meals a day
Working out all the time I developed asthma – I could not work out but I was able to walk – exercise is to keep you fit and to be fun.

Know you are up against a lot – it is like fashion, what is the trend ? you know yourself – what you eat – what makes you feel well – experiment for yourself but do not judge yourself
